Ramadan 2025 Marketing Plan for Pakistani Brands

Ramadan is expected to begin around 1–2 March 2025 in Pakistan. Shopping habits shift completely: late nights, Sehri scrolling and a big Eid rush. Here's how to plan ads, content and offers week by week.

Ramadan 2025 Marketing Plan for Pakistani Brands

In short:

  • Ramadan is expected to start around 1–2 March 2025, depending on the moon sighting, with Eid ul Fitr about a month later.
  • People shop later at night, and the biggest spending comes in the last 10 days before Eid.
  • Prepare creative and stock now, shift ad schedules to evening and late night, and plan your Eid deadline around courier cut-offs.

Ramadan changes how Pakistan shops online. Daytime activity drops, evenings after Iftar and the hours around Sehri get busy, and spending builds steadily towards Eid. Brands that plan for this pattern spend less and sell more than brands that run their usual ads with a crescent moon added.

Key dates

Pakistan’s space agency SUPARCO and the Met Office expect Ramadan to begin around 1–2 March 2025, with the final date set by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. That puts Eid ul Fitr at the end of March or start of April. Work back from Eid to set your last delivery date.

Week-by-week plan

When Focus
Now to late February Shoot Ramadan and Eid creative, plan stock, build audiences and email/WhatsApp lists.
Week 1 of Ramadan Brand and community content: Sehri and Iftar moments, values, giving. Lighter sales push.
Weeks 2–3 Gifting and Eid outfit/product discovery. Start Eid collection launches and early-bird offers.
Last 10 days Highest buying intent. Push retargeting, bundles and clear “order by” delivery deadlines.
Chand Raat and after Switch to digital gift cards, in-store offers or post-Eid sales once delivery deadlines pass.

Ad settings that matter

  • Schedule for evenings and late night. Check your past Ramadan data by hour. For many brands the best hours are after Iftar until around Sehri.
  • Raise budgets gradually through the month instead of all at once, so campaigns don’t reset learning.
  • Refresh creative every week. Ramadan content fatigues quickly because everyone is posting similar themes.
  • Prepare an Eid sale campaign in advance. In one skincare account we manage, an Eid sale campaign returned over 12x its ad spend.

Content that works

  • Respectful, warm messaging. Avoid heavy discount language in the first days.
  • Practical value: Sehri skincare routines, Iftar recipes using your products, Eid gifting guides.
  • Clear delivery information: “Order by [date] for Eid delivery in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.”
