Lead Generation for Clinics in Pakistan: A Practical Playbook

Dental, dermatology, hair and cosmetic clinics live on consultations. Here's a step-by-step playbook for getting quality leads from Meta and Google, and turning them into booked appointments.

Lead Generation for Clinics in Pakistan: A Practical Playbook

In short:

  • Clinics should measure cost per booked consultation, not cost per lead.
  • Use qualifying questions in lead forms and reply within minutes, by call or WhatsApp.
  • Be careful with medical claims and before/after content on Meta.

Hair restoration, dental, dermatology and cosmetic clinics live and die by consultation bookings. The playbook below works in any city, with a few adjustments for how patients in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad prefer to talk to clinics: mostly by WhatsApp and phone.

1. Start with the right number

A lead is not a patient. Work out what a booked consultation and a treated patient are worth, then set targets backwards. If one patient is worth Rs 150,000 and 1 in 5 consultations converts, a consultation is worth up to Rs 30,000 to you. That tells you how much you can afford per lead.

2. Choose channels by intent

  • Google Search: people already looking (“hair transplant cost Lahore”, “dentist near me”). Higher cost per click, higher intent.
  • Meta lead ads: reach people before they search. Lower cost per lead, more qualification needed.
  • Click-to-WhatsApp: works well for clinics, because patients want to ask questions privately.

3. Build forms that qualify

  1. Ask 2–3 questions that matter: treatment interest, preferred branch or city, when they want to start.
  2. Use Meta’s “higher intent” form type, which adds a review step and reduces accidental submissions.
  3. Collect phone numbers and confirm that you’ll contact them on WhatsApp.

4. Follow up fast

Speed is the biggest lever we see. Leads called within 5–10 minutes book far more often than leads called the next day. Set up instant alerts to your front desk and a WhatsApp message that goes out immediately with clinic details.

5. Feed quality back to the platforms

Mark which leads booked and which became patients, and send that back to Meta and Google (through your CRM or offline conversion uploads). Over time, the platforms learn to find more people like your actual patients, not just form fillers.

6. Stay within the rules

  • Avoid claims that can’t be proven, like “guaranteed results”.
  • Meta restricts some before/after imagery and content that implies negative self-perception. Read its health and wellness ad policies before launching.
  • Get written consent for any patient photos or testimonials.
